This section is from the book "The Diseases Of Dogs, And Their Homeopathic Treatment", by James Moore. Also available from Amazon: Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs.
The dog is sometimes troubled with a condition of the penis resembling the para-phymosis of another animal. The foreskin is reflected behind the glans, and remains there; the organ is erect and protruded, and becomes distended and enlarged from the constriction which it undergoes.
The treatment is simple enough. With the fingers of one hand the glans should be compressed - so as to squeeze the blood out of it - and pushed backwards, whilst with the fingers of the other hand the foreskin should be pulled over.
