a superficial inflammation of the skin. Dogs occasionally have it; not often a serious matter, though at times quite obstinate. The skin peels, leaving the part tender and sore. The mouth is often the seat of the disease, and the skin finally becomes wrinkled. Administer a purgative and bathe the parts with a saturated solution of boracic acid lotion (non-poisonous).
