To clean gold ware, mix together 2 parts of acetic acid, 1 part of oxalic acid, and 2 parts of sulphuric acid; stir in 2 parts of rouge, and mix with 200 parts of distilled water. Rub this on with a clean cloth, rinse off with hot water, and dry.
