To make saddle soap, gently heat over a slow fire, constantly triturating till thoroughly incorporated, l lb. of beeswax, 8 oz. of soft soap, 2 oz. of linseed oil, and 1/2 pint of oil of turpentine; put in pots or tins. Rub a very little well into the saddle and polish with a soft brush.
