A place appropriated to the feeding and rearing of birds, sufficiently extensive to allow them scope for flight The inclosure is usually made of net-work, duly supported, but preferably of wire-work. The interior is sometimes provided with trees, and other objects of nature; and the floor covered with turf, to avoid the appearance of dirt.
