A volatile preparation, which is thus made: - 12 grains of white soap are dissolved in 4 ounces of spirit of wine; this solution being strained, a drachm of rectified oil of amber is added, and the whole filtered. Afterwards, some strong volatile spirit of sal ammonia is to be mixed with the solution.
