In taking views, the process is exactly the same as in the case of portraits, except that the exposure is very much less. Views can be taken with the ordinary portrait lens, although distant objects are generally produced by it on too small a scale; this difficulty may be overcome by removing the back pair of lenses from the tube and using the front combination only, provided the camera will open to a sufficient length for focusing.
