Question 52. - Are undated cheques negotiable?
Answer. - Section 27 of the Bills of Exchange Act states that a bill is not invalid by reason only that it is not dated. Undated cheques are therefore on the same footing as other cheques, and are negotiable. Also note section 165, sub-sec. 2 of the same Act.
