Asclepias phytolaccoides. Milkweed Family. June - Aug.
A plant 3 - 6 feet high. Found in woodland borders, thickets from Maine to Georgia and far west.
Similar in structure to the Common Milkweed, white and greenish, or magenta tinged, drooping, in a loose cluster.
Rather broad, pointed at each end.
