Pour 1 pint boiling water over 1/2 box gelatine; add juice of 1 lemon and 2 cups sugar. When nearly cold, strain and add the whites of 3 eggs beaten stiffly, and beat all together. Set into mold to shape and chill. Make a custard of the yolks of 3 eggs,
1 pint of milk and 1 teaspoon cornstarch, 4 tablespoons sugar and pinch of salt. Pour custard around snow when ready to serve.
One teacup sugar, 1 coffee cup flour, 1 even teaspoon baking powder, 2 tablespoons sweet milk, 3 eggs, well beaten, and flavor with lemon. Pour into 7 well-buttered cups and steam 25 minutes. When done, take out and roll in powdered sugar. Serve with whipped cream.
