Sift into 1 pint flour 2 teaspoons yeast powder and salt; then add 1 tablespoon melted butter, 2 well-beaten eggs, and enough milk to make a thin batter. Be sure and have the two sides of the waffle pan well heated and greased before beginning to bake.
To 1/2 cup very soft butter add 3 eggs, yolks and whites beaten separately, 1 quart flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add milk to make a thin batter. Beat hard for 2 minutes and bake in hot buttered waffle irons.
