Light Biscuit Shortcake	C ■□□□□ U Oven
Makes 10 Shortcakes Ingredients: 1 cup All-purpose flour 1 ¼ tsp Baking powder ½ tsp Salt 4 Tbsp Light butter ½ cup Skim milk Directions: Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Combine butter with dry ingredients thoroughly. Then stir in milk. Drop by spoonful onto non-stick baking sheet (or pat dough flat in an 8 inch non-stick cake pan). Bake 10 to 12 minutes in a preheated 425 degree oven. (The top does not brown easily, so check bottom for over burning) Top with strawberries, peaches, etc. Alterations: May be baked in muffin tins for baking powder biscuits.
