Bring 1/2 pint milk to boiling point, and stir in two tablespoonfuls of semolina, 2 oz. grated cheese, 1 oz. butter, a little onion. Boil for fifteen minutes in double pan, or constantly stirring, turn out, and when cold make up into cakes, which flour, and fry a golden brown.
