IV. For Apple Sucker And Plum Aphis
Formula:
Lime ... ... ...... ... ...1-1 1/2 cwt.
Waterglass ... ... ... ... ... 5 lb.
Salt ... ... ... ... ... ... 30-40 lb.
Water ..................100 gal.
Slake quicklime slowly, and then mix with water in which the salt hap been dissolved. Strain through fine sacking, and add dissolved waterglass which makes wash adhere better. This wash may be used up to the time of the buds bursting.
