Calendulas and Marigolds should be grown for the purpose of filling up. The tall-growing Marigolds if kept cut back will develop into bushy plants and may be moved any time if a little care is taken. Choose a rainy day, and if the sun should come out very strong cover them over with an awning of some sort.
