A Bucks Co., Pennsylvanian, writes:"My fruit crop has been very good this year; I had nearly as many apples as last year. The prices obtained were from GO cents to $1.20. My apples were extraordinarily fine, owing to the wet season. I am spreading 35 bushels per acre of lime over my orchards. I am a little afraid of it; some say that lime is ruinous to orchards. 1 wish I knew about it. Give me your opinion of lime for orchards".
