Mr. F. E. McAllister, of New York, calls our attention to this remarkable variety of Forget-me-not. The flowers are in a certain sense double, having double the number of lobes to the corolla that is usual in this family. The flower is from a quarter of an inch to a half inch across. From the description we should judge it would be a very desirable addition to our garden flowers, and be a particular favorite with those who desire to grow flowers for cutting purposes. Like almost all of the Forget-me-nots, it is of a beautiful blue. In foreign catalogues it appears under the formidable name of Myosotis alpestris, grandiflora, robusta, etc.
