One would have thought that after the immense variety florists have produced, there was room for no more new styles among Chrysanthemums. But the French have produced a race that has the ray petals hang down closely around the flower stem like silk, while the " anemone" formed crown represents the button of a tassel. In one of these recently raised, the silken threads as we may call them, extend down 5 inches, while the crown represents a perfect hemisphere 4 inches across. This variety is called Fabias de Mad-ernaz.
