This is a prescription that I obtained from an eminent physician of
forty years experience with babies and children, by the name of
Dr. Allen Woods, of Chilo, Clermont County, Ohio, who is a scholar and
a man that has seldom been equalled as a successful physician with
children and in the general practice. I have used these powders in
over three thousand cases with the best results. They have no equal
in checking diarrhoea or summer complaint in children.

Mix, and make in twelve powders, and give one every three or four hours till the bowels check. Then one after each operation till they are natural. Never give them closer than three hours.
