267: Ointment for Ringworm formula

1. White Hellebore Root Powder l drachms
2. Flowers of Sulphur 1 1/2 drachms
3. Mercuric Chloride 2 grains
4. Creosote 2 drachms
5. Pine Tar 1 1/2 drachms
6. Castor Oil 1 1/2 drachms
7. Woolfat 5 drachms
8. Yellow Petrolatum 5 drachms

Make into a smooth ointment.

Directions: First, wash affected parts with green soap and water and then apply the ointment morning and night.

This formula can also be used with good results in doubtful cases of the
different forms of Eczema, as these are often of a similar nature as Ringworms.
