Virginia Snake-root.
Characters. - A small roundish rhizome, with a tuft of numerous slender rootlets, about 3 inches long, yellowish, of an agreeable camphoraceous odour, and a warm bitter cam-phoraceous taste.
Part employed. - The rhizome.
Preparation. - Tincture.
