Cubebs.
Characters. - The berry, which is the part used of the Piper Cubebae, a climbing perennial plant, is the size of black pepper, globular, wrinkled, blackish, supported on a stalk of rather more than its own length; has a warm camphoraceous taste and characteristic odour.
A fragmentary proving is given in Jahr's Symptomen Codex, and a more extended one in the Hahnemannian Monthly, vol. ii.
Part employed. - The dried unripe fruit.
Preparation. - Tincture (rectified spirit).
