Offensive breath and bad taste in the mouth are almost invariably only symptomatic of some other difficulty. When they arise from decayed teeth, the teeth should be cleansed, and the cavities properly filled by a dentist. If no dentist can be consulted conveniently, clean out the cavity yourself, and fill it with wax. If it should arise from derangement of the stomach, consult the disease under which it occurs. See also Symptomatic Index.
