In solution as a fomentation it hastens the maturation of furuncles, 24, 1: 180.
The only officinal preparation is the Liquor Calcii Chlori-di. In prescribing this drug the name should be written in full, otherwise a solution of chlorinated lime (Calx Chlorinata) may be furnished, as has already occurred.
