Order Of Exercise

1. Mortise and tenon joint

1. Pencil, rule, knife, and dividers

1. Square and true stock.

2. 1-2 inch bit and stock

2. Lay out and cut all mortise and tenon joints.

2. Butt braces

3. Turning saw and bit gauge

4. Half-round file and spokeshave.

3. Cut out side slats.

5. Marking gauge and try-square

4. Curve bottom edge of brace.

6. Block and Jack plane

5. Glue model together and sandpaper.

6. Scrape, stain, fill, and varnish.
