The greatest difficulty in the way of honest people understanding astrology is due to the popular misunderstandings of it. Do we positively know of any greater agent than the Sun, which for the first three hundred years of the Christian era, the followers of Jesus worshipped each morning at daybreak.

Why worship the Sun? Because that Sun, as it stands related to the earth in line with the Zodiac, at different parts of the year, is a sign of the days, the seasons and the years. It also gives us life, light and comfort. Furthermore, it gives each individual mortal his particular Spirit power in the human family, according to the particular time of the year in which he is born. In other words, the spirit of the sun, as individually manifested in the human race, is, truly, the God-given power of life on earth. It is "God manifest in the flesh,"as will be shown by the Soul (or Sol) characteristics. The Sun-power is not the flesh; it is in the flesh.
