Sec. 83a. Option Contract Not Within Statute Of Frauds
One negotiating to locate and obtain an option for the purchase of land for a lumber yard may recover, though the contract is not in writing, as is required by Burns's Ann. Stat. 1908, Sec. 7463, in case of contracts for the sale of lands on commission. Pierson v. Donham, 104 N. E. 606, 55 Ind. App. 636.
