In the deed now under discussion, the "bargain and sale" form, the final provision beginning with the words "In witness whereof," etc., is the testimony clause. This paragraph is a purely formal recitation of the fact that the grantor has signed and sealed the deed. It might be just as well left out so long as the signing is actually done.
