Thomas Chisholm Anstey, an English author, born in London in 1816. He was called to the bar in 1839, removed to Ireland, was member of parliament for Youghal from 1847 to 1852, and from 1854 to 1858 was attorney general at Hong Kong. Ho has published several works, the most important of which are "A Guide to the Laws of England affecting Roman Catholics" (1842), and "Guide to the History and Constitution of England.1'
