Winter (Eranthis Hyemails) Aconite, a small tuberous and herbaceous plant, growing without stem, and bearing in early spring bright yellow flowers of cup form. Its leaves are smooth, pale green, many-cut, and peltate; and its scape, only a few inches high, is single-flowered.
