Rose Oil. -Olive oil, one pint;otto of roses, five to sixteen drops. Essence of bergamot being much cheaper, is usually used instead of the more expensive otto of roses.
The same. The oil coloured before scenting, by steeping in it one drachm of alkanet root with a gentle heat, until the desired tint is produced. Alkanet root 20 cts. per pound.
