Sandal oil, 30 minims; rose extract, 4 fluidounces; jasmine extract, 4 fluidounces; orange flower extract, 16 fluidounces; essence of vanilla, 1 fluidounce; essence of musk, 2 fluidounces; tincture of storax, 2 fluid-ounces. (The tincture of storax is prepared with liquid storax and alcohol [90 per cent], 1:20, by macerating for 7 days.)

Cassie oil or otto is derived from the flowers of Acacia farnesiana Mimosa famesiana, L. (N. O. Leguminosę, suborder Mimosese). It must not be confounded with cassia otto, the essential oil obtained from Cinnamomum cassia.
