Fill small glasses having ground stopper with pieces of sponge free from sand and saturate with a mixture of spirit of sal ammoniac (0.910), 9 parts, and oil of lavender, 1 part. Or else fill the bottles with small dice of ammonium sesquicarbonate and pour the above mixture over them.
Essential oil of lavender.......... 18 parts
Attar of rose...... 2 parts
Ammonium carbonate.......... 480 parts
