[From I,. Britannia, Great Britain.] An alloy of tin, antimony, and copper. It varies in composition, but in general it contains from 80 to 90 per cent, of tin, with varying proportions of the other two metals. It is used for the manufacture of numerous articles for the table, also as a basis for electro-plating.
