No pawnbroker shall receive in pledge any property of any kind from a minor, or which is claimed by a minor, or in the possession of a minor, for money loaned.

Pawn societies may charge not to exceed I per cent per month to any pawner or pledger, as compensation for money advanced, and not to exceed 1/2 per cent per month, additional for storage and insurance.
