KNOW ALL MEN By THESE PRESENTS, That we, JOHN DOE and RICHARD ROE of Chicago, Illinois, are held and firmly bound unto JOHN ADAMS of Chicago, Illinois, in the sum of $5,000.00, to be paid to the said JOHN ADAMS, his executors, administrators, or assigns, for which payment we well and truly bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and assigns firmly by these presents.
Sealed with our seals and dated this Seventh day of JULY, 1908.
THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH, That whereas the said John Adams has employed the said John Doe as his cashier in his business, as a retail dry goods merchant; now, therefore, if the said John Doe shall well and faithfully and honestly discharge his duties as such cashier, and shall account for all money or moneys coming into his hands as such cashier, and of other property belonging to the said John Adams, coming into his hands, or under his control, then the above obligation is to become null and void, and of no force and effect, otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
John Doe, (Seal.)
Richard Roe. (Seal.)
