This is denoted by a watery discharge from the nose and eyes: a snuffling of the nose; perhaps a slight cough, and a want of usual vigour.
Keep in warm house and give warm food. Follow on with a dose of Epsom Salt, say 20 or 30 grains in a little water, if such can be conveniently given; but catarrh usually cures itself in a few days; an equal temperature being the most important factor towards recovery. Inhalations are sometimes useful.
