Two small elongated sacs situated on the upper surface of the bladder (fig. 225 D); they form reservoirs for the reception of the semen, and secrete a fluid accessory to that of the testicles which is mixed with it. As we have already seen, the duct of each of these bodies unites with that of the corresponding vas deferens to form the ejaculatory duct through which the semen is discharged into the prostatic portion of the urethra.
