Fish-Bone Stitch. A stitch which, when worked in series, resembles the backbone of a fish. Similar to Feather stitch, but differentiated by the needle always coming up centrally between the two side lines, and being worked rather more closely. Sometimes a back stitch is used as the central connecting stitch.
