C. virosa: stem hollow, somewhat branched, 3-4 feet high; leaves twice ternate, with large narrow-lanceolate acute unequal-toothed segments; general umbels of 10-15 or more rays, the partial involucres with numerous subulate bracts. - Water Hemlock. - Ditches and edges of lakes and rivers.
