This species is similar to the last, but its leaf occurs about the middle of the flower-stem, oval or roundish, clasping. Raceme of flowers short, blunt, 1 to 3 inches long. Lip, 3-lobed at the summit. 5 to 10 inches high. July and August.
Rather rare, in wet woods.
