Family, Mint. Corolla, shorter than the sharp calyx teeth. Divided as in other mints. Flowers in whorls, in the axils of leaves on rough stems, stout, and much branched, 2 to 5 feet high. Leaves, very coarsely toothed, with short petioles, ovate, or the upper ones lance-shaped. June to September.
Waste places, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
