The efficiency of the Tea Examiners as shown in the month of February 1918 is indicated by the data which show that there was only one rejection for color. The fact that only one of the teas was rejected for color, although the test was applied in every case, shows that the Read test has practically broken up the practice of importing colored teas into the United States.
