Repeated soaking of the feet in hot water and paring down the corn with a sharp knife, then applying nitrate of silver, and afterwards paring off the hardened black skin. Corn-plasters, having a hole in the centre, give great relief ' also in wearing.
Soft-corns are relieved by soaking in warm water, and the subsequent application of nitrate of silver. A thick plaster, to take off unequal pressure, is extremely serviceable.
