The following recipe gives an excellent tooth-powder, easily made, and pleasant to use:
Peruvian bark, 1/2 ounce, Myrrh, 1/2 ounce, Powdered Orris-root, 1/2 ounce, Chalk, 1 ounce.
Flavor very strongly with wintergreen.
