15 drops make one salt-spoon, 4 salt-spoons make one teaspoon, 4 teaspoons make one table-spoon, 4 table-spoons make one gill, 2 gills make one cup (or 1 halfpint), 4 gills make one pint, 2 pints make one quart.
1/2 cup equals 1 gill,
1 cup equals 2 gills,
2 cups equal 1 pint, 4 cups equal 1 quart.
4 wine-glasses equal 1 cup, 8 wine-glasses equal 1 pint, 16 wine-glasses equal 1 quart
