Wash thoroughly 1 cup rice and cook in 1 gallon of salted water. Do not put the rice in until the water is boiling hard and do not cover while cooking. When tender, drain in a colander and put in the oven to dry, stirring occasionally with fork.
Let cool 2 cups cooked rice and spread over it the following sauce: Mash 1/2 glass of jelly and add it to the beaten whites of 2 eggs.
