Sugar Cooky recipe, pg.50

Put 1/4 cup of dough in a small bowl.

2 tbsp.cocoa 2 tbsp. water

Blend well.

Drop the light dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet.

Grease bottom of a glass.

Dip glass in sugar and press quickly to flatten into rounds.

With a toothpick, make eyes, noses, and mouths out of the chocolate dough. With a spoon make hair out of the chocolate dough. If chocolate dough gets too stiff to spread easily, add another drop or two of water.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until light brown.

Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
