8 ounces of white sugar.
8 eggs.
1 to 2 ounces of ground ginger.
1 tea spoonful of baking powder.
1 1/2 pounds of flour.
Make same way as cookies. Sift granulated sugar over the sheet of dough and run the rolling pin over to make it adhere before cutting out the cakes.
