No. 1129. - A hardy annual plant, growing naturally in various parts of this country.. It is cultivated for its seeds, which give an oil of very agreeable flavor, that is used for domestic purposes (in place of olive oil), by druggists and for fine art painting. The seeds are also used for bird food, and for this purpose are known as marrow seed.
